Taking the glamor quotient many notches higher this season, the iconic
Lakme Fashion Week Winter/ Festive 2014 will take place at the Palladium
Hotel from August 20 to August 24, 2014. Hailed as India’s leading
fashion and trade event, LFW is the ultimate source for new talent as
well as showcasing some of the best work of the country’s fashion design
stalwarts. A bi-annual affair held over a period of five days, it
provides a perfect platform for a mix of 100 established and upcoming

This year, as always, the designer showcasing at the Grand Finale is a true force to reckon with. Manish Malhotra has just been announced as the chosen designer to close Fashion Week. In addition to this star attraction, many of the country’s top designers will also be showing. They include, to name a few, Anita Dongre, Anju Modi, Jade, Delna Poonawalla, Little Shilpa, Krishna Mehta, Nikhil Thampi and the internationally acclaimed luxury accessories designer, Mawi.
